Meggitt Defense Systems Inc., doing business as Parker Meggitt Defense Systems Division, Irvine, California, is awarded a $22,471,439 firm-fixed-price contract for the production and delivery of F/A-18 Infrared Search and Track (IRST) Environmental Control Unit (ECU) Weapons Replaceable Assemblies in support of full-rate production requirements for the Navy. The ECU provides cooling for critical IRST components, ensuring system reliability and performance. Work will be performed in Irvine, California, and is expected to be completed in February 2030.
