W.S. Darley & Co., Itasca, Illinois is awarded a firm-fixed-price indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity $43,377,568 contract (N66001-26-D-0035) for Fueltrax portable measuring units in support of the Marine Corps Fuel Automated Reporting System program, providing the Marine Corps with a system to monitor fuel in near real-time, enabling better-informed decisions in contested and austere environments. This contract was not competitively procured because it is a sole source acquisition pursuant to the authority of 10 U.S. Code 2304(c)(1) - Only One Responsible Source (Federal Acquisition Regulation subpart 6.302-1). While Nautical Control Solutions (NCS) is the manufacturer of the Fueltrax product, NCS uses a sole distributor, W.S. Darley & Co., to sell its products to the government. Work will be performed in Spring, Texas and is expected to be completed by May 2031. No funding will be obligated under the basic contract. Funding will be provided for each individual delivery order. Funding anticipated to be obligated from multiple sources; funding will primarily consist of Marine Corps Systems Command research and development funds; and Marine Corps Systems Command procurement funds.
