Dear Quoter:
La Tuna Federal Correctional Institution, Anthony, Texas, intends to issue solicitation 15B51027Q00000005 for the requirement of 1st Quarter FY2027 for Meats, Cheese and Milk items. The NAICS codes for this requirement are 311513, 311991, 311511.
The contract type will be Firm-Fixed Price. The evaluation factors are Price and Past Performance. Price will be rated higher than Past Performance. The Government will award all items to responsible offeror(s) whose offer conforms to the solicitation and is most advantageous to the Government. Failure to deliver within the established time frames will be considered as Non-Conformance under the contract terms and subject to termination.
The solicitation will be made available on or about August 10, 2026, and will be posted in www.sam.gov in the Contract Opportunities section. All future information regarding this acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through this website.
The anticipated date for receipt of quote is August 20, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. Central Standard Time via e-mail to Tex-ProcurementProp@bop.gov.
Each offeror is required per RFO FAR 52.204-7(b) and (c) to complete their representations and certifications via www.sam.gov. All responsible vendors may submit a proposal which will be considered. The anticipated date of award is August 24, 2026.
