6540--Intent to Sole Source EYESI SURGICAL

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to award a sole source, firm fixed price contract to Corps Medical Supply, LLC., located at 2211 North Tradition Lane, Janesville, WI. 53545-0780 for the Haag-Streit Simulation Eyesi Surgical Complete System for the Simulation Center for the Fayetteville VAMC located at 2300 Ramsey Street, Fayetteville, NC 28301. It is the Government s belief that the proposed candidate is the sole provider of the system and its related maintenance on the systems. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10USC 2304(c)(1) and FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirement. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. No solicitation documents are available, and telephone requests will not be accepted. However, any business that believes it can provide the Haag-Streit Simulation Eyesi Surgical Complete System may give written notice to Ricky.Farr@va.gov by 5:00PM EST on April 14th, 2026. Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to comply with the above requirement. Interested and capable respondents are requested to provide the information below. All responses to this notice shall include: company name, address, point of contact, phone number, System for Award (SAMs) Unique Entity Id Number (UEI), manufacturer authorization letter, authorized dealer, authorized distributor, or authorized reseller documentation. Responses will be considered by the Government; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed acquisition based upon responses of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
