Amendment 2 is issued to incorporate additional Questions and Answers for Solicitation 12444126Q0057. This amendment provides further clarification on water requirements at Catawba Falls Trailhead, subcontractor eligibility for janitor identification, acceptance of subcontractor past performance, supply pickup expectations, biohazard certification timing, disposal options, combined service visits, COR‑coordinated service times, billable service quantities, insurance documentation, and independent site access.

Amendment 1 is issued to provide Questions and Answers to potential offerors, clarify technical and performance requirements, and correct minor inconsistencies in the solicitation documents. Amendment 1 also updates the Schedule of Items to reflect the correct date and incorporates additional offeror acknowledgment questions regarding site accessibility, staffing commitment, and cleaning frequency requirements.

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12444126Q0057 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Grandfather Ranger District - West - Janitorial Services for Recreation Facilities at Pisgah National Forest, North Carolina

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561720  The small business size standard is $22M  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 

The offeror must demonstrate a clear understanding that Forest Service locations requiring janitorial services are geographically remote and have historically presented challenges in recruiting and retaining adequate staffing.
