Rack-Mountable, High-Power, Frequency-Doubled Red Laser System

This is a COMBINED SYNOPSIS/SOLICITATION for commercial supplies with services, prepared in accordance with the information in the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (hereinafter “RFO”) FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Products and Commercial Services, as supplemented with the additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; a written solicitation will not be issued.

The reference number is N0018926QL075. This solicitation documents and incorporates provisions and clauses in effect through FAC 2025-06 (effective 1 October 2025) and DFARS Publication Notice 20251110 (effective 10 November 2025). The NAICS code is 334516 (Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing) and the Small Business Standard is 1,000 employees. The Product Service Code is 6640 (Test & Measurement Supplies). The anticipated award date is no later than 15 May 2026. The purpose of the proposed contract requirement is to procure one (1) high power 657nm laser system and one digital laser locking device on behalf of the United States Naval Observatory, Washington DC, for which the Government intends to solicit and award a Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract to the quoter that is most advantageous to the Government. This requirement shall be solicited as a 100% small business set-aside.
