Notice of Intent to Sole Source - 145th AW - SSK Industries – Cypres

The 145th Airlift Wing Contracting office intends to award a sole source to SSK Industries for a quantity of 17 AADs - SSK Industries - Cypres System Item AAD2C1M1535A - Military CYPRES 2 1500/35A.

The manufacturer of Cypres AADs, Airtec GmbH & Co Safety Systems, has identified SSK Industries as their exclusive authorized distributor of the items. As such competing this requirement on the open market is not reasonable.

There will be no written solicitation issued. This procurement is being made pursuant to FAR 6.103-1(b), Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. All qualified sources must respond no later than the date and time specified under General Information within this special notice.

A determination by the government not to compete this proposed contract based upon response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
