AIR CARGO DETECTION INNOVATION AND DEMONSTRATION BROAD AGENCY ANNOUNCEMENT

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA), is publicizing the Air Cargo Detection Innovation and Demonstration Broad Agency Announcement (BAA) to provide industry with submission requirements to help identify, assess, and demonstrate innovative air cargo detection, screening, mitigation, and resilience capabilities that may improve security effectiveness and operational efficiency across TSA-regulated, industry-operated air cargo environments.

Questions: All questions related to this BAA, including content and submission process questions, shall be submitted to TSA.Innovation@tsa.dhs.gov no later than October 29, 2026.

Submissions:  The BAA will be open until October 29, 2027 with three submission windows:

• Window 1: 01/15/2027
• Window 2: 5/15/2027
• Window 3: 10/29/2027

Vendors shall submit responses by the deadlines identified above via email to TSA.Innovation@tsa.dhs.gov with subject line “Air Cargo BAA 70T04026BAA7573ACD Submission.”
