Area of Interest (AoI) – Metal Cleaning and Finishing Services

ACC‑ANAD is seeking solutions to perform depot‑level metal cleaning, surface preparation, and finishing services for a wide range of combat vehicle components. We need a solution that includes:

• Modern, efficient, and environmentally compliant methods for chemical cleaning, abrasive media cleaning, and required plating/coating processes (anodizing, chromate conversion, black oxide, electroless nickel, hard chrome, zinc, tin, copper, and phosphate).

• Clear facility capability details such as tank and oven dimensions, rack configurations, weight limits, and crane clearances, along with a feasible plan to meet the seven‑day turnaround requirement.

• A complete quality assurance approach capable of performing all required ASTM and MIL‑SPEC tests and ensuring consistent, certifiable results.

ACC‑ANAD is not obligated to extend a request for proposal or make an award as a result of this CSO AoI; all awards are subject to the availability of funds and successful negotiations. This CSO AoI is not an authorization to begin performance, and in no way obligates the Government for any costs incurred by the Offeror associated with developing a Response. Prior to commencement of any activities associated with performance under this CSO AoI, the Government will issue a written directive or contractual document signed by the Contracting Officer with appropriate consideration established. ACC‑ANAD reserves the right to modify the requirements of this CSO AoI.
