Brand new fire trucks (right hand drive)

The 374th Contracting Squadron, Yokota Air Base, intends to award a sole‑source purchase to the two (2) brand new fire trucks (right hand driven)) in support of the Camp in Japan.

This Notice of Intent does not constitute a request for competitive proposals, nor is it a solicitation or a request for offers.

This action is being processed in accordance with FAR 12.102(a) as a sole‑source acquisition for the products described in the attached product specification sheet. Market research indicates that only MORITA CORPORATION has previously demonstrated the capability to meet these requirements. However, all responsible sources who believe they can meet the specifications are invited to submit written documentation detailing their ability to provide the required products, along with evidence that their items meet all certification requirements.

The Government will consider all information received solely to determine whether a competitive procurement is appropriate. The decision to compete this requirement remains entirely at the discretion of the Government.

The closing date for this notice is 30 JUL 2026 at 1500 Japan Standard Time.
