M4 Rifle and Parts (5.56x45mm NATO)

Amendment A00001 is issued to incorporate the revised Statement of Work dated 4-27-2026 and replace RFP section III.10 Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors with a revised section III.10. This revision eliminates the Frangible Ammunition Compatibility Testing requirements under Part D.
All other terms and conditions remain the same. There is no change to the response date and time.

The Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) has a requirement for the procurement of complete M4-Style Armalite Rifle (AR) platform rifles chambered in 5.56x45mm NATO, as well as all associated parts and accessories.

U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) currently utilizes M4/AR platform rifles for duty and training use. CBP is posting this solicitation for an Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to augment and/or replace existing in-service, reserve, and training rifles, as well as supply parts to maintain its current inventory. This contract may be designated as available to other Federal Government Agencies for use.
