This notice serves to survey the market to ascertain whether-or-not sources are capable of providing the requested supplies/services. The Department of Veterans Affairs, Veterans Health Administration, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is seeking sources for the following procurement: 36C26126Q0677 | SURGICAL TABLE for the VA San Francisco Health Care System (VASFHCS). Please see attached draft Statement of Work (SOW) for the description and quantities for this sources sought notice. This notice allows potential contractors/vendors to submit a non-binding statement of interest and documentation demonstrating their capability.
This Sources Sought is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification(s) (Service Disabled/Veteran Owned Small Business (SD/VOSB), Hub zone, 8(a), small, small disadvantaged, woman owned small business, or large business) relative to North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 339113 Hospital furniture, specialized (e.g., hospital beds, operating room furniture) with a size standard of 800 employees. The proposed contract will be a Firm Fixed Price contract.
The Veterans Administration seeks sources who would be interested in submitting an offer in response to a future solicitation for the following supplies. This is a SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. It is neither a solicitation announcement nor a request for proposals or quotes and does not obligate the Government to award a contract. Requests for a solicitation in response to this Sources Sought announcement will not receive a response. Responses to this Sources Sought announcement must be in writing. Important information: the Government is not obligated to nor will it pay for or reimburse any costs associated with responding to this sources sought request announcement. This notice shall not be construed as a commitment by the Government to issue a solicitation or ultimately award a contract, nor does it restrict the Government to a particular acquisition approach. The Government will in no way be bound to this information if any solicitation is issued. The VA is mandated by Public Law 109-461 to consider a total set-aside for Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business set aside.
