Praia - RSO Emergency Response Vehicle (ERV)

The U.S. Embassy Praia intends to award a vehicle acquisition on a brand name and sole source basis. The required vehicle is a 2026 Renault Duster. This procurement is being conducted under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 and FAR 11.105, as only the specified brand name and sole source will satisfy the agency's requirements for durability, functionality, and compatibility with existing equipment.

A Justification and Approval (J&A) supporting this brand name and sole source procurement has been prepared in accordance with FAR 6.303 and FAR 6.305. The J&A details the rationale for restricting this acquisition to the specified brand name and sole source, and is posted with this notice for public review.
