Software Licensing and Training

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) Criminal Investigation (CI) Center for Science and Design (CSD) anticipates awarding a Brand Name or Equal to Firm Fixed Price purchase order to procure software perpetual licenses and training. This Request for Quotation (RFQ) is issued as a Total Small Business Set-Aside for the acquisition of two (2) Amped AUTHENTICATE, Brand Name or Equal, in accordance with the requirements and salient characteristics identified in this solicitation.  

The Government has identified Amped AUTHENTICATE as the brand-name product that represents the characteristics and level of quality necessary to satisfy the Government's requirements. In accordance with FAR 11.104 and FAR 52.211-6, Brand Name or Equal, quotations proposing an equal product will be considered, provided the quoted product satisfies all salient physical, functional, and performance characteristics identified in this solicitation. 

Offerors proposing an "equal" product shall provide sufficient technical information with their quotation to demonstrate that the proposed product meets each of the Government's stated salient characteristics. The Government will evaluate the information provided to determine whether the proposed product is acceptable.
