THIS IS A BRAND NAME ONLY COMPETITIVE SOLICITATION AND IS NOT A SOLE SOURCE AWARD. KAESER ROTARY BLOWER MODEL EB421 C, PETALUMA, CA

The DHS US Coast Guard Training Center Petaluma intends to competitively solicit a purchase order using the procedures at FAR 13.106-1(b)(1), restricting the requirement to a specific brand name. It has been deemed that only the Kaeser Rotary Blower Model EB421 C can satisfy this requirement due to critical physical, technical, and system integration constraints within the existing wastewater treatment facility.

This solicitation is not a sole-source award. Any authorized Kaeser distributor capable of providing the specified brand-name equipment is invited to submit a competitive quotation. The requirements document, including the brand-name specification and technical details, is attached to this notice.

Offers from vendors proposing alternative manufacturers or non-interchangeable equivalent systems will not be considered. A determination by the government on award will be based on the lowest-priced, technically acceptable quote from an authorized distributor of the specified brand.

The government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice. A party may identify their interest and submit a capability statement by September 3, 2026, at 1100 EST.
