Request for Quote for carrying out the “Conversion of Adyar house to MSG residence”

The U.S. Consulate General, Chennai invites you to participate in this solicitation for carrying out the “Conversion of Adyar house to MSG residence”, as described in the attached solicitation documents.  

The vendor shall furnish all the information required to accomplish all the work as required in the solicitation document.  Please refer to the attached Request for Quote (RFQ) letter herewith for details. All responsible sources may submit a quotation, which shall be considered.

RFQ TIMELINE:

• Registration for site visit: Thursday, August 13, 2026 by 11:00 a.m (IST) to ChennaiProcurement@state.gov
• Mandatory site visit with vendors: Tuesday, August 18, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. (IST) at the following address.

The Adyar House located at No. 8 (Old #3), Turnbulls Road Ext., Chennai-600035 & MSGR located at No.6/2 (30/31) North Crescent Road, T.Nagar, Chennai – 600017.

• Deadline to submit technical queries: Wednesday, August 19, 2026 by 03:00 p.m. (IST) to ChennaiProcurementFSNS@state.gov
• Deadline for RFQ Submittal: Tuesday, August 25, 2026 at 03:00 p.m. (IST) to ChennaiProcurementFSNS@state.gov
• This solicitation is mainly intended only for local vendors as vendors’ participation is required in mandatory site inspection.
• Vendor must have service support availability in Chennai, India [Mandatory].
• Vendors submitting quotes without attending the site inspection will not be considered.
