The U.S. Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs (INL), is conducting market research to identify qualified U.S. vendors capable of designing, implementing, and sustaining a comprehensive gold traceability application for Guyana and Suriname. This "pit to port" tracking system will help prevent illegal and foreign gold from entering legal markets, disrupt transnational criminal networks, and incentivize legitimate miners to engage in formal mining activities.
This Sources Sought Notice/Request for Information (RFI) is issued solely for information and planning purposes and does not constitute a solicitation. The Government seeks vendor capability information, industry feedback on draft requirements, and input to inform the acquisition strategy.
Interested vendors must review the complete Sources Sought Notice and the separately attached Statement of Objectives (SOO) for detailed requirements, response instructions, and submission guidelines.
Key Information:
Responses to this RFI are not offers and cannot be accepted to form a binding contract. The Government will not reimburse costs incurred in responding to this notice.
For complete details on response requirements, eligibility criteria, and the anticipated scope of work, please review the attached Sources Sought Notice and Statement of Objectives.
