The U.S. Embassy Guatemala – INL requires the acquisition of prefabricated structures that fulfill or exceed the requirements of the statement of work (SOW) detailed in this document.
The Contractor shall furnish and install all materials required by this contract. The contract drawings are set forth in Section J as Attachment 1.
For a thorough understanding of the requirements, the Contractor must design and deliver one building for classroom, that will accommodate 30 students. The building must be made by using prefabricated modules.
These modules should be manufactured in accordance with the basic architectural layout outlined in attached drawings. The Contractor will be responsible for providing shop drawings (blueprints) for approval that incorporate all design elements.
If the Contractor would like to offer his/her standard designs that meet the specifications, the Contractor shall present these architectural alternatives in his offer, and no substantial changes will be accepted after the contract is awarded. In such cases, the Contractor must incorporate these proposed architectural designs into his/her offer, and will make any adjustment to the different
systems to provide all the required services and utilities, all these adjustments shall be performed during the manufacturing process and shall be similar or exceed to the services and utilities detailed in this SOW.
If the Contractor does not include any architectural alternative in his offer, it will be understood that the Contractor will provide the modular for the modules according to the architectural designs detailed in the drawings mentioned above.
