Fertilizer Tender Trailer for USDA NRCS-Aberdeen, ID

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 12FPC326Q0019 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Fertilizer Tender Trailer for USDA NRCS-Aberdeen, ID.  The Government anticipates the award of one firm fixed-priced contract resulting from this solicitation. Award will be made to the responsible vendor with the quote that conforms to this RFQ and is the best value for the Government.

This acquisition is being set aside for 100% small business concerns.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333111 - Farm Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing. The small business size standard is 1,250 employees. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 

Statement of Requirement

The United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) Aberdeen, ID has a requirement for the purchase of a 5 Ton Pull Type Fertilizer Tender- Side Discharge Trailer (See C04 Attachment 1 Product Description).  Trailer should meet requirements as specified in the Product Specifications document (See C04 Attachment 2 Fertilizer Tender Specifications).
