Requisition Number: RFISS-164-Bldg Electrical Upgrade

Synopsis:

The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division, Keyport is issuing this sources sought notice as a means of conducting market research to identify parties having the resources and interest in the installation of a new 1,200A and two (2) new 600A panels in a building.

The project will require the contractor to move existing electrical equipment to make room for new equipment The Contractor shall provide labor, materials, and equipment, as required, to accomplish the work in accordance with the statements here.

1. Relocate existing metering and additional electrical equipment.

2. Reconfigure breakers in existing switchgear.

3. Install one (1) new 1,200 A switchgear and two (2) new 600 A panels. 

This request for capability information does not constitute a Request for Proposal (RFP); submission of any information in response to this announcement is purely voluntary and the Government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred.

Pursuant to DFARS 204.75 an approved Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) of Level X (check for each requirement what level of CMMC is required) is required before a contractor can be considered for award. The contracting team will check each offeror's CMMC level in the Supplier Performance Risk System (SPRS) after offers have been submitted but prior to contract award. Any offerors that are determined not to have an approved CMMC will be ineligible for award. The Government may not respond to any specific questions or comments submitted in response to this sources sought notice or information provided as a result of this sources sought notice.  Any information submitted by respondents as a result of this sources sought notice is strictly voluntary.  This sources sought notice is for information planning purposes, the Government will not pay or otherwise reimburse respondents for information submitted, and it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government.

All documentation shall become the property of the Government.  The Government is not soliciting, nor will it accept proposals as a result of this sources sought notice.  All firms responding to this sources sought notice are advised that their response is not a request to be considered for a contract award.  If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced later via the Government-wide point of entry and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the response to this sources sought notice.  Response to this notice is not a request to be added to a bidders list or to receive a copy of a solicitation.
