Special Notice
The 435th Construction and Training Squadron performs runway marking and rubber removal at eight to
ten Air Force bases in Europe. The high pressure pump, blower and sprocket of one of our rubber removal
trucks broke down and need to be replaced to resume our rubber removal missions at full capacity.
The affected vehicle is the rubber removal truck, Make: MAN SH8000 Stripe Hog
Required Parts:
1 EACH - High Pressure Pump, Power, End, 4200, Gen 2, RH, Y. Item No. 32384
1 EACH - Blower, 6", Tuthill. Item No. 30720
1 EACH - Sprocket, 14MX-36S-37, 2517. Item No. 60711
The vehicle requires the use of proprietary parts approved by the manufacturer, as using non-approved or
third-party components would void the warranty and may result in incompatibility or damage; the vehicle
costs approximately $997,094.69 (GSA price), and the delivery time is currently unknown and may take several years.
