This notice is issued solely for informational, market research, and planning purposes only. It does not constitute a solicitation or a promise to issue a solicitation in the future. This notice does not commit the Federal Government to contract for any service at this time.

OBJECTIVE:
The objective of this notice is to conduct market research to determine if there are Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) or Veteran Owned Small Business (VOSB) sources, or any other Small Businesses capable of providing HVAC System Controls & Services for the Omaha VA Medical Center (OMVA), 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105
DESCRIPTION OF SERVICE:
1300T Chiller Repairs
PLACES OF PERFORMANCE:
Omaha VA Medical Center, 4101 Woolworth Ave, Omaha, NE 68105
POTENTIAL SCOPE OF WORK:
Inspection and evaluation of existing chiller drive system
Replacement of Trane OEM drive components, including transistors, contactors, and associated electrical components, as required
Replacement of Trane OEM motor starter assembly, including transition components and associated hardware
Integration of replacement components with existing electrical control, and communication systems
Performance of dry-run testing, commissioning, startup, operational testing, and system verification
Documentation of installation activities, testing results, commissioning, and as-installed components
Coordination with VA Engineering for scheduling, commissioning, and temporary power interruptions to minimize impacts to facility operations and patient care. Work may be required during evening and weekends.
POTENTIAL CERTIFICATIONS AND LICENSURE:
The Contractor shall provide qualified persons that are certified Trane OEM service providers.
