The Department of Health and Human Services, on behalf of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), National Center for Advancing Translational Sciences (NCATS), intends to award a firm-fixed-price contract to NextMove Software Limited, Innovation Centre, 320 Cambridge Science Park, Milton Road, Cambridge, CB4 0WG, United Kingdom, for the renewal and reinstatement of proprietary NextMove software licenses.
The purpose of this requirement is to renew NCATS’ NextMove proprietary software licenses, including HazELNut, LeadMine, CaffeineFix, SmallWorld, and Pistachio, for a one-year period of performance to restore and maintain access to mission-critical chemical informatics tools used in support of NCATS preclinical and translational research activities. The RFQ identifies this requirement as a firm-fixed-price acquisition for NextMove Software Limited, Brand Name, All or None.
The NextMove software suite supports the export, analysis, searching, and mining of chemical reaction data from Electronic Laboratory Notebooks (ELNs), scientific literature, and patent databases. These capabilities directly support novel assay development, assay validation, screening activities, and chemical data analysis across ongoing NCATS research projects.
