Update: Organized Site Visit
One site visit will be held on Monday, September 21, 2026 at 09:00am Eastern. The location of the site visit is the Beltsville Agricultural Research Center Beltsville, Maryland 20705.
In order to facilitate conference preparations, contractors must RSVP with the number of attendees AND identities no later than 24 hours prior to the start of the site visit. Contractors are REQUIRED to bring a Government Issued ID to the Site Visit. RSVPs must be sent to David Johnson at david.k.johnson@usda.gov, and CC Nicholas Bartolomei at Nicholas.Bartolomei@usda.gov.
The visitors must report to 10300 Baltimore Avenue, Building 003 (the building is at the flag pole) Beltsville, MD 20705 with a current valid REAL ID. Use the AI Phone (video/audio system) at the door to announce themselves to the security guard for entry. Visitors will be processed for a Visitor's Pass where the site POC David Johnson will meet them and escort them. The visit may last 3 hours, depending on any questions.
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1174459 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for Electronic Security Systems At The Beltsville Agricultural Research Center Beltsville, MD 20705 as listed in the performance work statement.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 561621 The small business size standard is $25 million This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
