SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) Lakehurst is seeking information from industry to identify potential sources capable of providing the following item in support of the Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch System (EMALS) on CVN 80:

Item Description:
Recirculation Pump
Part Number: 3339/102-1
Quantity: 12 each
Manufacturer: CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC (CAGE 59180)

These recirculation pumps are source-controlled items used in the lubricating and cooling system of the EMALS Motor Generator. They must meet all form, fit, function, and performance requirements of the existing design and be fully interchangeable with units currently installed on prior Ford-class carriers.

Purpose of this Sources Sought:
This notice is issued for market research purposes only to determine if other responsible sources exist that can meet the Government’s requirements. The Government currently intends to pursue a sole-source acquisition with CIRCOR Pumps North America LLC under the authority of FAR 6.302-1 (Only one responsible source).

Interested parties are requested to submit a capability statement that includes:

1. Company name, CAGE code, and business size status
2. Confirmation of ability to manufacture or supply P/N 3339/102-1 (or an interchangeable equivalent)
3. Description of any relevant past performance or technical capability
4. Estimated production lead time for quantity of 12
5. Any proprietary data rights or licensing limitations

This is not a Request for Proposal or Request for Quotation. The Government does not intend to award a contract based on this Sources Sought notice. Responses will be used solely for market research and acquisition planning purposes.
