The Albuquerque Area Indian Health Service (IHS), Division of Contracts and Grants Management (DCGM), invites Native American-owned small businesses to participate in the 2026 Albuquerque Area IHS Native American-Owned Small Business Industry Day, a two-day virtual event dedicated to strengthening partnerships, expanding the Albuquerque Area IHS supplier base, and increasing awareness of the capabilities of Native American-owned businesses.
Held shortly before Indigenous Peoples’ Day, this event provides Native American-owned small businesses, including eligible Small Business Indian Firms (SBIFs) and Indian Small Business Economic Enterprises (ISBEEs), an opportunity to introduce their organizations and showcase their capabilities directly to Albuquerque Area IHS acquisition professionals, program stakeholders, and organizational leadership.
🏛️ Event Overview
Day One will begin with introductions from Albuquerque Area IHS acquisition professionals and a brief overview of the Buy Indian Act and its role in supporting Indian economic enterprises through federal procurement.
Following the opening session, participating vendors will receive an individually scheduled 10-minute presentation slot to introduce their businesses and highlight their capabilities, qualifications, products, services, past performance, and other information relevant to potential Albuquerque Area IHS requirements.
Vendor capability presentations will continue throughout both days.

Each participating vendor will receive 10 minutes to present its capabilities directly to Albuquerque Area IHS personnel and other invited IHS acquisition and program professionals.

The Industry Day is designed to connect Native American-owned businesses with Albuquerque Area IHS personnel and other invited IHS acquisition and program professionals involved in identifying requirements, conducting market research, planning acquisitions, making purchases, and administering contracts.

Please indicate your interest in participating in the 2026 Albuquerque Area IHS Native American-Owned Small Business Industry Day and include your business name and primary point of contact.
Upon receipt of your email, the Albuquerque Area IHS will provide a registration form to collect additional business information and assist with scheduling.
Presentation times will be scheduled in advance. Each participating vendor will receive 10 minutes to present its capabilities, qualifications, products, and/or services.
Space is limited, and registration will close once all available vendor presentation slots have been filled. Vendors are encouraged to register early.
Additional event and Microsoft Teams information will be provided to registered participants prior to the event.

Through the 2026 Albuquerque Area IHS Native American-Owned Small Business Industry Day, DCGM seeks to strengthen relationships with Native American-owned businesses, expand awareness of industry capabilities, broaden the Albuquerque Area procurement base, and identify qualified sources capable of supporting healthcare delivery.
These partnerships help ensure that Albuquerque Area IHS acquisition professionals have access to capable and innovative businesses that can provide the supplies, services, equipment, and solutions necessary to support direct patient care and advance the IHS mission:

The Government will not assume liability for costs incurred by any participant associated with attending the event or preparing, submitting, or presenting information, capability statements, presentations, or other materials. Costs incurred in response to this notice will not be considered allowable direct or indirect charges to the Government.
