This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 127EAY26Q0135 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for 5 PPE Extractor Washing Machines.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 333310  The small business size standard is 1,000.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency. 

The Inyo National Forest requires the purchase of 5 PPE Extractor Washing Machines in accordance with the specifications below:

Capacity/Pieces of Gear (separated) - Up to 07 pc capacity , Install-Method – Soft Mount/Freestanding,  Drain Method - Wall Drain, Electrical Requirements - 120v 3 prong plug, Wash cycles - designed for firefighting turnout gear,  Spin cycle - 10 minute spin cycle, Detergent dosing pump – Extractor must be pre-wired and programmed to work with dosing pump to dispense the correct amount of detergent Pre-programmed with wash cycles that are safe for firefighter turnout gear Specific wash cycles for blood-born / liners / outer shells,  Drum Size - 35 lb. 120V power required.
