Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) Sensor Support

This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only. This is not a Request for Proposal (RFP), Request for Quotation (RFQ), or an Invitation for Bid (IFB). The U.S. Government is seeking to identify qualified sources capable of providing support for the Defense Meteorological Satellite Program (DMSP) sensor suite.

The purpose of this notice is to gain knowledge of the capabilities, capacity, and qualifications of potential contractors to support the ongoing mission and eventual decommissioning of the DMSP. The DMSP, run by The Department of the Air Force (DAF), United States Space Force (USSF), Combat Forces Command (CFC), Mission Delta 4 (MD4), 4th Sustainment Squadron (4STS) Peterson SFB, CO, is a Department of Defense program office that designs, builds, launches, and maintains satellites for monitoring meteorological, oceanographic, and solar-terrestrial physics environments. The DMSP mission is planned to continue through its functional End of Life (EOL); currently projected through September 2028.
