UTVs for Field Training Operations

The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) at Maxwell AFB, AL 36112-6334, requires four Utility Task Vehicles (UTVs) to support field training operations at Maxwell AFB. These vehicles are essential for the transportation of personnel, equipment, and supplies across varied and rugged terrain within designated training areas. The UTVs are required for field training operations in accordance with (IAW) the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR). This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued.

Tmendment is to change the PSC to 2340 and the NAICS to 336999 with a corresponding Size Standard of 1000 Employees. NAICS codes starting with 42 (wholesale), 44 or 45 (retail) shall not be used to classify government acquisitions for supplies; nor shall they be used by federal government contractors when subcontracting for the acquisition for supplies. It is mandated by the Small Business Administration (SBA).

This amendment clarifies vendor inquiries about whether UTVs must include roofs and windshields. Per AFROTC requirements, all UTVs must be equipped with both a roof and a windshield. The amended SOR shall be added to the file along with the Q&A and Responses document. Due to these amendments and extension shall be added to this solicitation to Monday, 20 April, 2026 1:00PM CST
