This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial products or commercial services prepared in accordance with RFO Part 12. This announcement constitutes only solicitation. Offers are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.

Solicitation number W9124M-27-Q-A001 is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ) for Aerial Ignition/burn in support of Ft Stewart DPW forestry efforts.

This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. This solicitation incorporates provisions and clauses by reference. The full text of provisions and clauses may be accessed electronically at www.acquisition.gov.

Proposal Due Date/Local Time: 15 SEP 2026 by 3:00PM Eastern Standard Time (EST). All proposals must be submitted in accordance with the instructions for submission of offers in Addendum to 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors - Commercial Products and Commercial Services.

Offerors are advised that all questions concerning this solicitation shall be sent in writing to the Contracting Officer, Curtis Hanna and Contract Specialist Nichole Gaskin, via e-mail. Questions received after 07SEP 2026, 12:00 PM EST may not be answered.

This Solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Business. The NAICS Code is 115310 –Support Activities for Forestry and the business size standard is $12 million.

The Contracting Office is seeking to purchase services for a fully contractor operated and maintained, exclusive use helicopter to support the Fort Stewart Forestry Branch prescribed burning mission at Fort Stewart/Hunter Army Airfield (FSGA/HAAF), Georgia. The Performance Work Statement (PWS) is included.

The contract period of performance (POP) will begin as shown in the schedule. Any award resulting from this solicitation will be issued on Standard Form 1449. The Government anticipates a Firm-Fixed Price contract consisting of a base and two 1-year option periods.

NOTE: To receive an award resulting from this solicitation, Offerors MUST be registered and active in the System for Award Management (SAM).

Amendments to this RFQ will be issued in the same manner as the initial RFQ with the exception that the amendment shall be identified under the Solicitation Number with the words “Amendment #” followed by the sequential number beginning with 01 and proceeding as necessary until the RFQ response date.
In accordance with FAR 52.232-18, Availability of Funds, FY 27 funds, are not presently available for this solicitation and resultant contract.
