QNX Software Development Platform

This notice is being published as required by FAR 5.201(b)(1).

The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a competitive Firm-Fixed price contract for the following in accordance with Government drawings:

P/N 911361/E QNX Software Development Platform, P/N 911362 QNX Software Development Platform License Key, P/N 102085 Standard Support for QNX Software Development.

Blackberry Limited is the OEM but does not directly work with the Government. Therefore the contract will be awarded to one of the authorized distributors of the software.

The NAICS code associated with this requirement is 513210. 

The Government intends to procure the above items under the authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), FAR 6.302-1. The limited number of responsible sources listed above are the only companies that can meet the agency's need for the QNX Software Development Platform License Key. All responsible sources are encouraged to submit a proposal in writing that may be used by the Government in determining whether or not to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
