Little Rock AFB Mortuary Services

This is a sources sought notice. There is no solicitation available at this time. Requests for solicitation will receive no response. This Sources Sought notice is published for market research purposes only. 

The 19th Contracting Squadron is seeking sources who can provide mortuary services within 50 miles of Little Rock AFB for the embalming, restoration, other preparation, care, and disposition of remains of authorized personnel. The contractor shall provide licensed facilities, equipment, licensed funeral service practitioners, motor vehicles, professional services, supplies, death certificates, caskets, urns, outer shipping containers, transportation and perform hygienic practices . The contractor will comply with all existing federal, state, territory, and local licensing requirements and regulatory standards applicable in the area of performance of this contract. 

DETAILS:

All prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database to be awarded a DoD contract. All interested parties shall submit a capabilities document. The capabilities package shall be brief and concise yet clearly demonstrate an ability to meet the stated requirements.

NOTICE: The Government will neither award a contract solely on the basis of this sources sought nor will it reimburse the contractor for any costs associated with preparing or submitting a response to this notice. This notice does not constitute a Request for Quote, nor does this issuance restrict the Government's acquisition approach. The Government reserves the right to accept or reject in whole or part any industry input as a result of this announcement. If the Government decides to award a contract for this effort, a solicitation will be issued at a later date.
