Amerex 600K Halon Fire Extinguisher Service

The purpose of this sources sought notice is to obtain knowledge of potential sources for this project to include interested and capable Small Business concerns. This notice is for planning purposes only. All interest parties are encouraged to respond. McEntire Joint National Guard Base in Eastover, SC may issue a subsequent solicitation and award a contract for the service of (17) Amerex 600K wheeled Halon Fire Extinguishers utilized on the flightline for fire safety. The service would require the removal of the existing Halon in each fire extinguisher, completion of required hydrostatic testing, and refilling of each extinguisher to the required/rated volume of Halon. 

All interested concerns will provide this office, in writing, a notice stating their positive intention to submit a proposal as a prime contractor no later than Wednesday, July 22, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT. Please include a supporting capability statement with notice.
