Synopsis: Please note that this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals, the Government is seeking information for market research purposes only. Network Contracting Office (NCO) 15 of the Department of Veterans Affairs is currently conducting a market survey for qualified firms to create a 3-bed observation unit within the existing Emergency Department at John Cochran Saint Louis VAMC . Description of Project: 657-26-602, Create Observation Unit JC at the Sain Louis City, MO VAMC, John Cochran Division. The purpose of this project is to create a 3-bed observation unit within the existing Emergency Department at John Cochran, Building 1, Floor 01. Work includes, but not limited to, three rooms that will be converted to the Observation Unit and will be contained within the Emergency Room Suite footprint. Seven rooms will be renovated to include relocated triage rooms and reception desk. Renovations will include, but are not limited to, phasing to maintain operations, walls, finishes, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and medical gases. Contractor shall completely prepare site for building operations, including demolition and removal of existing structures, and furnish labor and materials and perform work for as required by drawings and specifications to be provided when Solicitation is released on or about August 1, 2026, based on funding availability. The site visit will be clarified in the solicitation. Interested bidders are highly encouraged to attend. Period of performance is expected to be approximately 550 calendar days.
