Notice of Intent to Sole Source: LWRC COMP RIFLE

The Executive Office for United States Attorneys (EOUSA) intends to solicit and award to LWRC International, LLC, 815 Chesapeake Drive, Cambridge, MD 21613, under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the agency requirement.

The EOUSA anticipates award, on a sole source basis, to LWRC International LLC for the procurement of 10 long guns.  The long gun that has been approved is LWRC M-6 ICA5 Complete Rifle, 5.56mm, 10.5 inch Fluted Barrel, Color: Black, LWRC Folding Back‐Up Iron Sights, Two Position Gas Block, Ambidextrous Lower & Charging Handle. Includes LWRC 36" Rifle Case, Blue Force Gear Victory Sling, 3 30 Round PMAG's, 2 Blue Force Gear Sling Swivels.  The vendor is LWRC International who has established a federal law enforcement package for this rifle that is only available to law enforcement.  It is a mission critical priority that the weapon procured is consistent with the LWRC M-6 ICA5 that has been approved by policy for the 1811 program of EOUSA.  No other substitute will meet this requirement as courses of fire and range requirements are specific to this rifle.

This notice is not a request for competitive quotations.  A Request for Quote will not be available for this requirement.  The intent of this solicitation is for informational purposes only.  However, any information received within five days after the date of publication of this notice will be considered by the Government.  Information in response to this notice may be sent to Bryant Gilbertson, Contracting Officer at bryant.gilbertson@usdoj.gov.  A determination by the Government not to compete this action is solely within the discretion of the Government.  Telephonic questions or requests are strongly discouraged.
