Background & Objective:
The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) requires a reliable method to trace individual microcircuits to their original vendor to mitigate counterfeit risks, specifically once devices are removed from unit packaging.
DLA has utilized plant-based Deoxyribonucleic Acid (DNA) marking since 2015 for device authentication and contract traceability. We are now seeking information on new or alternative technologies that meet or exceed this current standard.
