Cristobal Colon Gravel Pad Materials

12 AUG 2026: Revised to include PWS, quantity of gravel needed, and anticipated solicitation/award date.

Pre-solicitation notice issued to identify an upcoming requirement to supply gravel pad materials at Cristobal, Colon, also known as Fort Sherman. The scope includes 2,000 loose cubic yards of ¾”–0 angular crushed stone, 1,200 loose cubic yards of drainage stone, and 800 linear feet of 4” HDPE perforated pipe to Cristobal Colon, Panama. Supply deliveries to begin 31 August 2026 with all materials to be delivered within two weeks. 

This notice meets the requirements of RFO 12.201-1 Simplified procedures, paragraph (c)(2)(i) in order to solicit quotations directly from suppliers. Vendors may contact the POCs in this pre-solicitation notice to identify interest, but there is no guarantee that all interested vendors will be selected to receive the RFQ when issued.

The solicitation is anticipated to be issued directly to suppliers on/around 20 August 2026. A Lowest Priced, Technically Acceptable (LPTA) evaluation is being considered, with an anticipated award date on / around 21 August 2026.
