Red River Bunkhouse Shower Replacement Renovations

This is a special notice prepared in accordance with the Revolutionary FAR Overhaul (RFO) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.1 “Pre-solicitation Notice” for Commercial Simplified Acquisition in accordance with FAR 12.201-1(c)(2). In accordance with Revolutionary FAR Overhaul FAR 12.201-1(c)(2), the Government may solicit quotations directly from suppliers for this acquisition at or below the simplified acquisition threshold. The USDA-Forest Service intends to award a firm fixed price (FFP) contract using Simplified Acquisition Procedures that meets the specifications outlined below. This solicitation is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation, and a written solicitation will not be issued. Quotes are being requested under reference 1240LU26Q0115.

3. Description of Requirement

The project consists of remodeling the shower room on the second floor of the Elk City Bunkhouse # 2101. The project consists of installing a new floor, walls, ceiling, two new one piece showers with a dividing wet wall in between, and the required amount of new plumbing to tie everything new into the existing systems.

The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 236118 Residential Remodelers.   The small business size standard is $45M.

5. Set-Aside Information

This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.

7. Project Location:

Elk City Ranger Station is located in Elk City, Idaho County, Idaho and is within the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests.  Elk City Ranger Station is located approximately 125 miles east of Lewiston, Idaho.

8. Period of Performance:

Project is expected to begin approximately 11/15/2026 and completion date will be approximately 12/15/2026.

Less than $25,000.
