Boston Scientific Stimcor Repair/Maint

The Department of Veterans Affairs, Network Contracting Office (NCO) 21 is issuing this Notice of Intent (NOI) to
inform industry contractors of the Government’s intent to execute a Sole Source Award under the authority of
Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 – Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP), specifically FAR 13.106-
1(b)(1)(i), Soliciting from a single source.
The intended contractor is Boston Scientific Corp. The Department of Veterans Affairs
San Francisco Care System (VASFHCS) is seeking to negotiate a sole source award to Boston Scientific Corp for routine maintenance including replacement parts and services, software upgrades and maintenance on our Farastar and StimCor systems including additional equipment upgrades associated with Cardiology StimCor and Farastar system equipment.
