This notice is a re-advertisement of the Government's previous notice issued on August 25, 2026. The purpose of this re-advertisement is to provide additional detail regarding the Government's space requirements, including warehouse, laboratory, and secured wareyard components.
The U.S. Government currently occupies office space and related space in a building under a lease in Bismarck, ND that will be expiring. The Government will consider alternative space if economically advantageous. In making this determination, the Government will consider, among other things, the availability of alternative space that potentially can satisfy the Government’s requirements, as well as costs likely to be incurred through relocating, such as physical move costs, replication of tenant improvements and telecommunication infrastructure, and non-productive agency downtime.
The requirement is not limited to traditional office space. Required features include a collocated warehouse, laboratory space, and a secured outdoor wareyard adjacent to the facility. The warehouse and wareyard support field operations, storage of equipment and supplies, and vehicle and trailer storage. Locations that facilitate coordination with other natural resource agencies are preferred.
