J065--Intent to Sole Source FY26 Durham Building 42 Varian Truebeam Move

The Department of Veterans Affairs Mid Atlantic Health Care (NCO 6) intends to negotiate a sole source procurement for Varian Medical Inc. s TrueBeam relocation, testing, and calibration (with new hardware and software upgrades) of the Varian TrueBeam Linear Accelerator for the Radiation Oncology Department Services at the Durham VAMC, 508 Fulton St., Durham, NC 27705. This proposed procurement is for services for which the government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of RFO FAR 12.102(b) Restricting Competition. The NAICS code is 518210 and has a size standard $40.0M for this Procurement. THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES; however, any company that believes it can meet the requirements may give written notification prior to the response due date and time.  Supporting evidence must be furnished in sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to perform the requirement.  Information can be sent to the Contracting Officer, Cleveland Wynne, via email to cleveland.wynne@va.gov. Responses received will be evaluated; however, a determination by the Government not to compete the proposed procurement based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.  If no responses are received, the Government will proceed with the award.  The Government will not be responsible for any costs incurred by responding to this notice.
