NOTICE OF INTENT TO SOLE SOURCE The Department of Veterans Affairs (VA), Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6, intends to issue a Firm Fixed Priced contract under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Overhaul 12.102 (a). Award is anticipated to occur on or about October 12, 2026. The Network Contracting Office (NCO) 6 intends to non-competitively award this requirement to ITW Food Equipment Group LLC dba Hobart Corporation, since the required service and supplies can be fulfilled only by the Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and no other source. Hampton VA Medical Center, Hampton VA, is requesting quarterly maintenance and repairs as needed to their existing Hobart Dishwasher and other Hobart Equipment, brand name Hobart. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 811412 Appliance Repair and Maintenance with a size standard of $19.0 Million. The applicable Product Service Code is J073 Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding Equipment- Food Preparation and Serving Equipment. It is the Government's belief that only the proposed candidate possesses the required capabilities to successfully meet this requirement. It is the Government's intention to solicit and negotiate with only this source. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. It is not a solicitation or request for offers. A contract will be executed IAW with RFO 5.101 (b)(2) Using other than full and open competition (see 6.103), except for the authorities at 6.103-1 (only one responsible source).
