This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued.
Solicitation number 1232SA26Q0450 is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for penning and gating alterations at the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility, Manhattan, Kansas.
This acquisition is set-aside for small business concerns. The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 236220 Commercial and Institutional Building Construction. The small business size standard is $45M. This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside. All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
A mandatory site visit is required to be technically acceptable. Please see Solicitation Information and Attachments 6 and 7.
Specifications and Drawings will not be posted. In order to receive a copy of the Specifications and Drawings, each interested contractor must send a completed NonDisclosure Agreement to Erin Riffey, erin.riffey@usda.gov, and cc: Kraig Buffington, kraig.buffington@usda.gov. Once those are received, they will be forwarded and recipients must comply with all restrictions within the NonDisclosure Agreement.
Questions shall be submitted via emailed to erin.riffey@usda.gov and are due no later than May 1, 2026, at 1:00 PM Central Time. This will ensure enough time to respond before the solicitation period ends. Please include the solicitation name and number as the subject line of the email.
