J065--Baxter Hill-Rom Beds and Stretchers PM

The Department of Veterans Affairs, VA Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS), Network Contracting Office 8 has a requirement for preventive maintenance and repairs of a Baxter and Hill-Rom electric beds and stretchers located at the Veterans Affairs Caribbean Healthcare System (VACHS) main facility in San Juan, Puerto Rico. These services will be procured through an authorized representative from Baxter/Hill-Rom that can confirm they are not only capable of performing such services but also can ensure that no equipment warranties are voided after the maintenance of such. These maintenance services shall also ensure that the maintained equipment is functioning as intended when originally manufactured. The associated NAICS code for this service is 811210 with a size standard of $34 Million and PSC Code J065. A service contract for a base year and four (4) one-year option periods is anticipated and shall be awarded. Due to the criticality of this equipment, and to ensure the equipment is maintained and repaired in accordance with the Original Equipment Manufacturer specifications, an authorized repairer is needed. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement with sufficient detail to demonstrate the ability to meet the subject requirement. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that the vendor is capable of fulfilling the Government s requirement.
