Getinge Cart Washer - Preventative Maintenance and Inspection

The Medical Readiness Contracting Office-West (MRCO-W), Joint Base San Antonio, Fort Sam Houston, Texas intends to award a sole source Firm Fixed-Price contract to Getinge USA Sales, LLC for annual service, preventive maintenance and quarterly inspections for a Getinge Cart Washer located at the Division of Veterinary Science, Animal Health Branch, Fort Sam Houston, TX.

The statutory authority permitting acquisition of this requirement by other than full and open competition is 41 U.S.C. 1901 as implemented in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 12.102(a), sole source (including brand name) under the authority of the simplified procedures for certain commercial items. 

Getinge USA Sales, LLC is the only source capable of satisfying the required service to include preventive maintenance and quarterly inspections for the Getinge Cart Washer. The North American Industrial Code System (NAICS) code is 811219, Other Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance, with a size standard of $22M.  Points of contact (POCs) are Mrs. Cathy Harris, Contract Specialist and Mr. James Davis, Contracting Officer.
