Notice to Sole Source in UPS System MIFC PAC

SPECIAL NOTICE: The Department of Homeland Security, United States Coast Guard, Operational Logistics Command (LOG-94) intends to award one (1) sole source purchase order on a basis of other than full and open competition (under FAR authority 6.302) to Eaton Corporation c/o eReps, Inc. for equipment and services needed for USCG MIFC PAC, per scope of work (SOW) that include the following:

1. Provide and deliver Eaton 93PM-L 160 kVA / 160 kW UPS system and accessories  

       2.  Coordinate onsite startup by Eaton  

       3. Establish one-year Predict Pulse remote monitoring 

                 4.  Provide warranty, documentation, and training as specified in the vendor quotation 

The contractor will provide all services per SOW. This purchase will be made utilizing Simplified Acquisition Procedures in accordance with: Federal Regulation (FAR) Part 13.106-1(b) for purchases not exceeding the simplified acquisition threshold of $350,000. 

This sole source is pursuant to 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) implemented by the FAR Subpart 6.302-1 entitled "Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements". 

The NAICS Code for this procurement is 811210 - Electronic and Precision Equipment Repair and Maintenance. The PSC to J059- Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment - Electrical and Electrical Equipment Components. The procurement type will be a firm-fixed price.
