Intent to Award to a Single Source: Purchase of PRC-163 Handheld Radios

The 910th Contracting Flight, Youngstown ARS, OH intends to award a single source purchase order to L3HARRIS TECHNOLOGIES, INC. This procurement is for the purchase of four (4) L3Harris AN/PRC-163 Multi-Channel Handheld Radio System and required accessories.

APPLICABILITY OF AUTHORITY: 

This purchase will be made under Simplified Acquisition Procedures as authorized by RFO 12.102(a): Only one source available.

Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed purchase lies solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered a competitive requirement. The anticipated award date is unknown.
