Amendment 0001:

The purpose of this amendment is to provide responses to answers to queststions received, update the photo attachments to include photos of the most recent Certificate of Operations for each elevator, and update the Performance Work Statement to remove the requirement for bonds. 

This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Part 12.  This announcement constitutes the only solicitation.  Quotations are being requested and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. 

Solicitation number 1232SA26Q1517  is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for elevator maintenance at the Sam Farr United States Crop Improvement and Protection Research Center, USDA ARS in Salinas, California. This requirement is for one (1) base period of one year and four (4) option one-year periods.

This acquisition  is set-aside for small business concerns.  The applicable North American Industry Classification Standard Code is 238290 – Other Building Equipment Contractors.   The small business size standard is $22 Million.  This acquisition is a Total Small Business Set-Aside.  All responsible sources may submit a quotation which will be considered by the agency.
