Question 55b is changed from: The Statement of Work indicates that foundations are to be demolished to one foot below grade except for piles. Please confirm: Do any buildings contain driven piles or deep foundations? Both, Please reference as-builts.  Bldg. 1 has deep foundations and pile footings.  Is pile removal explicitly excluded from the scope of work? Yes, unless they are one foot above existing basement soil elevations. If pile removal is excluded, please identify known locations.  Refer to the as-built drawings.
