High Pressure Air Compressor (HPAC) No. 1 & No. 2 Top-End Overhaul

The Pearl Harbor Naval Shipyard and Intermediate Maintenance Facility (PHNSY & IMF) is issuing a request for quote (RFQ) to RIX INDUSTRIES in accordance with RFO 6.103-1, for a firm fixed price contract to provide a qualified on-site representative in support of Top-End Overhaul for the No. 1 and No. 2 High Pressure Air Compressors (HPAC) on-board a Virginia-class submarine.

In accordance with DFARS PGI 206.302-1, a sources sought was posted to the Government Point of Entry (GPE}, SAM.gov from 6 April 2026 - 9 April 2026 to determine whether other sources could satisfy this requirement. The Government received one response from industry but was deemed incapable in performing the requirement.

The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS} code assigned to this procurement is 336611- Ship Building and Repair with a size standard of 1,300 employees. The Product Service Code (PSC} is J020 - Maintenance, Repair and Rebuilding of Equipment-Ship Repair and Marine Equipment.
